AZHAGIYA TAMILMAGAN

This year Diwali is full of expectations for all of us! Director Bharathan is coming up with his promising loads of commercial cocktail is Vijay's 'Azhagiya Tamil Magan' releasing on Deepavali day.

Vijay films always promise a mix of entertainment with catchy songs, pulsating stunt sequences and punch dialogues with his colorful looks...

'Azhagiya Tamil Magan' is undoubtedly the most consistent and entertaining album for a Vijay's movie ever when it comes to music.

Adding spice to this already happening action-packed and dramatic movie is maestro A R Rahman’s music.

Rahman rocks the big time! Looks like, he has sung the intro song of 'Azhagiya Tamil Magan'. The remix of the yesteryear number ‘Ponmagal Vandhal’ is a huge hit among the music-lovers.

Buzz is that Vijay appears in a dual role in the movie for the first time in his career with ‘Sivaji’ fame Shreya and glam doll Namitha. The story has been kept a secret.

'Azhagiya Tamil Magan' would be a real entertainer for Vijay fans! It has a different storyline and sequences which unfolds in an interesting manner.

Sources say that the movie is about a youth possessing Extra Sensory Power (ESP), who predicts the future!

"Songs were shot abroad and especially a romantic number featuring Vijay and Namitha shot in Bangkok is a delight for eyes" says Bharathan. “ 'Azhagiya Tamil Magan' would be a real entertainer for Vijay fans”, he adds.

“The movie which has been granted a 'U' certificate by the censor board which will be hilarious and entertaining”, says Vijay.

Avid fans of Vijay are eagerly waiting for Deepavali because, it's celebration time for them...

Lets wait for Kollywood's big hit! Says the fans.

SIVAJI

Writing a preview for Sivaji is a daunting task as it is arguably the biggest film ever made in Tamil.

Rajinikanth, Shankar, AR Rahman and AVM, as a combination there is none to better this in Tamil filmdom.

Now that Sivaji is confirmed for a release on May 31, Sivaji craze is at its highest, even higher than the ever-soaring temperatures in Tamil Nadu.

So where do we start the preview, what do we tell which hasn't been told?

As it is, hard news about Shankar's movies are hard to come by. It is doubly so in the case of Sivaji.

The movie has been the talk of the town what with the biggest marquee names in Kollywood (Rajini, Shankar, A R Rahman), and some of the most talented technicians like cameraman K V Anand, editor Anthony, art director Thotta Tharani, writer Sujatha, choreographers Raju Sundaram, Larencce and Brinda, and costume designer Manish Malhotra have figuring in it

Grand, style and slickness are the words being associated with the movie. It is not just the most expensive film ever made in Tamil cinema but also the movie to be released with maximum number of prints.

Shriya plays the female lead. Suman, Prakash Raj, Manivannan and Vivek are also in the cast.

Sivaji was short extensively in Hyderabad, Pune, Spain and USA.

Nothing much is known about Sivaji except that Rajini plays Sivaji, the Boss.

Shankar has always made films on social issues. If the story of Sivaji is anything like Anniyan where the protagonist fought against injustice in society, Sivaji can be more explosive.

The story has some broad contours surrounding the educational scenario in the country.

On being part of a Rajinikanth film, Shriya says, “It was project which had all the big names in Tamil film industry. When Shankar offered me the role, I immediately grabbed it with both hands since I am a great fan of Rajinikanth. Shankar is one of the few in film industry who knows exactly what he is doing. He thinks big and executes them big on screen”.

For her, acting with Rajini was a great learning experience. “He (Rajinikanth) is always ready to learn, very approachable, ready to help others and is always smiling. The child in him is very alive”, she says.

The film's music is already a big draw. A R Rahman has managed to combine his techno virtuosity to match the mass expectations of Rajini fans. It is a big achievement. Some of his songs are a rage. The Shana song is perhaps the anthem of the season. The Ballelakka number will have his fans dancing in the aisles for long.

Shankar has worked around the looks of Rajini. The superstar, as is well-known, is not much of an 'experimenter' when it comes to make-up or hair-do. But for Sivaji he seems to have run that extra mile to come across in a new form.

Manish Malhotra, who has worked his magic on such Bollywood beauties, was roped in to work his undoubted skill on Rajinikanth.

The effort seems to have paid of. For, Rajini looks at his smartest best and thoroughly refreshed and relaxed.

Rajini has gone in for a variety of hair styles, too. In one of the stills, he sports the typical Rajini look - hair parted low on left-side with a huge swathe rakishly falling over the forehead on the other side.

Remember, this is the style with which the urban legend of Rajini was born? Whenever he ran his hand casually across the hair and tossed it with practiced insouciance, blood coursed across fans' veins fast and furious. Rajini has a few portions with his now familiar parted-on-the-middle back-combed middle-aged metro look.

The most intriguing presence is, however, Rajini in a Warne-like bleached blonde look.

Rajini is said to have cut don on his cigarette smoking to look youthful in the movie.

Suman, who is making a comeback of sorts into Tail, says he owes it to Rajini and Shankar for the big role he has been offered.

Vivek's comedy is also said to have come out very well.

The choreographers of the film cannot stop talking of Rajini's efforts to do justice to their movements.

On the whole, Sivaji's crew and cast were a one happy family.

The portents are now for a big blockbuster.

June 15 is the D-day that the entire TN is looking forward to.

It is the day when big will get bigger and better.

BHEEMA

V
ikram is thrilled with the completion of his much-awaited BHEEMA. It has been quite some time since his last film Maja was released.

Undeterred by the yawning gap, Vikram, says, "BHEEMA"will more than make it up. It would be a treat for my fans, an out and out action-packed entertainer. I would rate it as the best films that I have worked so far. The storyline of director Lingusamy is pulsating.”

Lingusamy, whose last venture Sandai Kozhi is a big success is confident of repeating the show in Bheema.

As the title suggests, the hero is brawny and brainy. He fights for a cause.

“We have shot song sequences in Switzerland, New Zealand and the famous Thirumalai Naicker Mahal in Madurai”, Says Lingusamy and adds, “The song we shot in Swiss would be a real highlight of the movie. The onscreen chemistry between Vikram and Trisha is worth a mention.

Trisha, after Saamy, is back to play Vikram's heroine.

BHEEMA would be a treat for action-buffs and surely Vikram fans, who had waited for over a year would be thrilled”, adds Lingusamy.

BILLA

Despites many obstacles, Ajith goes for more that’s more evident with his dedication and passion towards his profession and straightforwardness. With no support, he came up in his career and today he has become more worth of being a part in the remake of Superstar Rajnikanth’s Billa. With the entire film’s shooting entirely completed, the entire cast and crew returned to Chennai last week.

Opening scene in the film is more interesting that it doesn’t has any heroism theme as Ajith simply walks down Stylish with black blazers where he utters his name ‘Billa’ on the phone. Also there are more scenes depicting him in a stylish way.

Also there is no specified punch dialogues in the film expect few. The most exciting punch dialogue in the movie is Ajith saying ‘Billavaala Mudiyaadhadu Edhuvumilla’ and others would be saying ‘Billa Poyurukaanla’.

After watching this specified scenes in the film, those celebrities said that this movie is a sure blockbuster for 2007. Sooner, after getting the edited version, Ajith would be going for a private screening with Rajnikanth in next few weeks at 4 Frames Preview Theater.
