Timberlake writes song about Britney

Justin Timberlake has written a song about Britney Spears’ breakdown. The SexyBack singer has produced and co-written Falling Down with British band Duran Duran about his ex-girlfriend’s dramatic fall from grace. Duran Duran drummer Roger Taylor said, “I suppose it’s loosely based on her, but not only on one celebrity, just celebrity culture in general. A lot of young celebrities seem to disappear into rehab. So it’s kind of like, what could be happening in your wildest dream in that rehab centre?”

The video shows a Britney look-a-like checking into rehab. Lead singer Simon Le Bon said, “I haven’t spoken to Justin since the video has been made public. But he likes his pretty girls, so he probably would like it. I just wish Britney could accept help. It seems that all the people who care about her, she’s pushing away.”

When Justin split from Britney he released his hit single Cry Me a River which featured a girl who looked just like her in the video. Britney, 26, checked into rehab earlier this year after a spate of wild partying which culminated in her shaving her head and attacking the paparazzi with an umbrella.
